How forgiveness clears your karma

Have you ever faced a situation in life, where someone unexpected deeply hurt you and refused to apologise? It may be big or small, but there comes a time when you feel repeatedly mistreated and treated unfairly and you can’t use forgiveness or compassion as a way to spiritually bypass the third dimensional reality of a valid pain (even though unconditional love is permanent).

Forgiveness - let’s talk about it.

A human superpower, of course, and a necessary practice for healing. The lesson of forgiveness has hit me in multiple ways, as a pathway to transmute extremely difficult emotions and situations that loop me into lack of self worth.

Aside from the complexities of the world and the elements which don’t deserve forgiveness; when it comes to our most personal experiences, you reach a state of evolution where you cannot hold negativity, hatred, revenge or so forth. You don’t have any desire to hurt someone back - but just want your own hurt to be acknowledged. Yet even that’s a far cry for some.

That’s why we have to understand, everyone operates at their own level of consciousness. You cannot educate someone into being more conscious or more conscious dialogue if indeed they have some value for you.

To cut people off, is very easy. It’s very easy to avoid and escape pain. But to sit with pain and honour it takes strength.

That’s where forgiveness, self compassion and healing play a large role.

The universe we live in is a karmic and energetic universe.

When you have a situation of pain, you create karma. When you practice forgiveness towards those that hurt you, you not only clear the energy of pain but also send them back their karma.

As long as you remain attached to a situation of mistreatment thinking that one day they will recognise how they pained you and apologise, you are lowering your consciousness.

We think forgiveness means peace, but the converse is also true. When you have a strong forgiveness and compassion, any energy which seeks to hurt you or anyone that breaks you down will naturally receive a pushback from the universe.

But even then, forgiveness means we don’t stay attached to the idea of a karmic pushback. Staying attached to someone receiving their share of karma is again, a karma creation illusion.

That’s why you HAVE to elevate yourself to a level where you want everyone to heal. When you elevate your own consciousness, people will naturally realise they were taking you for granted or they will never learn - it doesn’t matter.

You have to elevate yourself to a level of self-love where the attachment to how much they hurt you is lost.

For me, that’s what forgiveness also means.

The nature of life is change. We can never heal, fix, control anyone. Everyone is a free floating pebble in the ocean of life, with many varieties of illusions.

If you have a strong abandonment wound, or a pattern of attracting situations where you are mistreated, it speaks to your need to deeply bring that power back to yourself. To understand your worth is not dependent on how people treat you.

This is easier said and done. No one is ‘fully healed.’

As human beings we feel pain, sadness, anger and the entire spectrum of emotions. All of these emotions are sacred, but when we return to our core we know the oneness inside which is love, which is eternity, the eternity that was true from the start.

So, it is human to feel pain. Some of us are more sensitive than others. And if you are one of the most sensitive kinds, it becomes even more neccesary to manage your energy.

I can’t say I manage my energy well all the time. Sometimes I spiral, and rightly so because sometimes life presents us with situations where we cannot make sense of why we were treated the way we were treated.

The solution is to surrender, into the feet of the divine mother.

Doing your own self-healing practices helps you, it does not necessarily mean it will make anyone else better. Yes, your consciousness and healing does uplift the planet. But that’s where you have to release the need for others to validate your pain, to apologise or value you.

So, keep healing friends. This eclipse portal is shredding me, the fiery energy of this portal has been calling me to break outdated patterns with finality. To sit and hold space for the validity of my own pain and not expect anyone else to care.

Trust that everything is a divine intelligence, and the divine intelligence in you knows how to heal.

And lastly, if anything is real it will stay. If it is not, it will crumble. This is the truth of the universe presented to us by the energies of Maa Kali, the destroyer of illusions. The fiery pit of anger that begs us to give validation to how we have mistreated, ignored and neglected our own well-being.

Do not seek better treatment outside, even from people you expected were entirely genuine. It is part of Devi’s Maya.
