What is Sananga? Miraculous Amazonian eye drops for healing!
Learn about this incredible natural tool and change your life.
I first experienced Sananga in a shaman’s market in Iquitos, Peru. It was like total cleanse of my perception, it burnt a lot but the benefit is felt immediately. Over a period of time, Sananga does incredible things for healing eyesight issues, emotional blockages, purging negative energies and overall healing of our being.
Let’s learn more about Sananga and what it can do for you!
Sananga is a sacred plant medicine taken in the form of eye drops and made from the roots of the tabernaemontana undulate shrub. It is a traditional medicine of the Yawanawa tribe of Peru and often taken to massively enhance vision abilities at night in the forest, and is also a key indigenous medicine alongside Hapeh. Both of these modalities are often worked with in Ayahuasca ceremonies by indigenous tries of the Amazon basin.
Did you know we store a lot of tension behind our eyeballs? Our eyes are our vision, they are the GATEWAY TO THE SOUL.
As we know from Vedic sciences, each organ of the body is linked to different chakras. The eyes are linked to the liver and the Manipura (Solar Plexus) Chakra. This governs our will-power, it’s the bridge between the material and the spiritual. And the eyes are also symbolic of this doorway!
With clear vision, we know where we are going in life.
We can see through the illusions and maze of the world.
Astrologically as well, the left eye is linked to the moon and the right eye is linked to the sun; in Vedic astrology, the right eye is linked to the 12th house and left to the 2nd house. These are both related to different things.
And so by healing our eyesight, we can heal many areas of our life.
Sananga is made by the tribes with intentions and prayers for healing to bring about clarity and focus.

How is Sananga used?
This eye drops are best administered by someone else, with one drop in the inner corner of each eye. When we blink, the Sananga enters the eye and this burns a great deal. Breathing deeply through the nose helps with this process. Once the pain subsides and the Sananga leaves the body, you feel a deep relaxation.
It is recommended to use Sananga for a brief period of time such as a few days or a week, and then take a break for a few days. For more information and questions on whether Sananga is suitable for you, please message @theshipibomarket on Instagram.

Although very few risks are reported, if one experiences any persisting irritation, consult a doctor. As with any indigenous medicine, be it Ayurvedic, from South American traditions, or ancient Chinese medicine; always check with authentic sources beforehand.
