We often forget that our bodies are magnificent universes that contain all the rivers, oceans, planets, galaxies and elements inside of us.
In Sanskrit, the whole alphabet is mapped to different regions of the body. In Sri Vidya, the entire Sri Chakra corresponds to different parts of your energy system. Your body is a sacred Kshetra (land).
And not just that, your body is actually ALIVE.
Sounds stupid, doesn’t it? Because it’s so bloody obvious.
"Of course it’s alive, Kamya. Get a grip,”
But really, tell me - how often do we spend simply observing the magnificent intelligence of our body? Like taking the time to watch ourselves breathe, for example. It’s alive and conscious, yet how often are we really, REALLY present with this miracle of a biological masterpiece.
If you're a spiritual nutjob like me, you know very well that we often tend to float up to the higher chakras and neglect our lower chakras. Sometimes when we are chasing the higher dimensions, we forget to give attention to our body which is here and now. It’s really true.
Yet, the body is the gateway to experience spirituality, in itself.
What if it was really that simple?
We want to drink away our pain. We want to Netflix it away, we think we’ll pop a few pills and the migraine will be gone in the morning but darling DID YOU ADDRESS what you are sitting with, now? Did you listen to your body’s pain? Did you simply allow it to exist and speak to you?
And when you start to take this turn towards healing yourself, I promise you, everything in your life will change. When you start along the path of natural and holistic healing, you put that entire cosmic power in your own hands. Because it was always there with you - we just forget to pay attention.
Sing positive thoughts to yourself.
Visualise light flooding the painful areas.
Heal your inner child.
Jump up and down in the rain and FEEL just how incredible it is to be alive in this cosmic universe.
Learn about natural medicine systems.
Start by smiling at yourself in the mirror and saying,
"I love and accept you”
Because at the deep root of it, a lot of our issues are simply caused by disconnect. Disconnect from ourselves. Disconnect from our spirit. It’s all there within us.
So, don’t forget that as much as the external world is beautiful in it’s own right, you have an internal universe too.
Tend to your own garden.
Water the plants every day and watch them bloom.
I believe in you.
