Getting to know your energy and energetic system.

Your chakra system is like an energetic framework that exists with your human body, each chakra is an energy vortex that is connected to different organs in your body and deeper karmic patterns, programs and in fact your whole life experiences.

According to Vedic knowledge systems, our mind consists of certain vasanas or patterns; we contain not just karmic patterns from this life but previous lifetimes and the work continues each time we reincarnate. When you start to heal and clear your chakra system, you clear out these experiences and experience a whole new level of inner alignment.

There are 7 major chakras that we talk about in spiritual healing, from the root chakra which is at the base of your spine, called Muladhara in Sanskrit. And then working your way up to the Sahasrara which is the crown chakra, or thousand petalled lotus.

Learning to heal, balance and energise your chakras will lead you right into the energetic roots of the things you want to change. All the things you want to manifest, all the things that you want to heal are all right there in your energy system!

Now, when your chakras are out of balance in some way, it shows up in different ways. It can show up as physical ailments or emotional disturbance in some way - ESPECIALLY if you have certain patterns that keep repeating in your life! For example procrastination, or sense of self worth, attracting toxic relationships, your relationship with money, literally all of it is linked to your chakra system.

Let’s take an example of someone who has taken a lot of hard knocks in life in the domain of relationships, has issues with boundary setting and sense of self worth. One of the chakras this is related to is your SACRAL or your Swadhisthana chakra. This chakra is orange in colour and located just under your navel.

In fact this chakra is directly related to relationships, sexual trauma and creativity. If you have a blocked or imbalanced sacral chakra, you may find yourself perpetuating toxic patterns with little sense of your own boundaries. Your swadhistana chakra is strongly related to your sense of self worth, as it literally means abode of the self. So working on healing your swadhisthana chakra can help you heal past relationship trauma and develop a healthy and strong sense of self worth.

Due to colonisation, each of our chakras has been affected in some way or the other. For example, our third eye or Ajna chakra which is the seat of the pineal gland and the doorway between this world and the spiritual world. Our sense perceptions have been dulled through pharmaceuticals, fluoride in the water, toxins in the air, media and distractions which are all artificially engineered to keep us distracted from what is actually going on inside and - HEALING IT!

Now, you have the power to heal your chakra system. There are so many different methods to work with the energy of your chakras.
